Edge/IoT

The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to the process of connecting physical objects to the internet. Specifically, it is any system of physical IoT devices or hardware that receive and transfer data over networks without any human intervention.

Edge Computing is computing that takes place at or near the physical location of either the user or the source of the data, which results in lower latency and saves bandwidth. By placing computing services closer to these locations, users benefit from faster, more reliable services with better user experiences.

CTC works with multiple IoT and Edge computing vendors/products to bring the best value of IoT/Edge to our customers. These can be used either for Edge video analytics and facial recognition or for smart building initiatives. In addition, IoT platforms can also provide a single management pane for different IoT products, while custom middleware development can be used for the integration of different IoT / Edge gateways.
